Poured or rather thrown colour imitates the explosion when it impacts on canvas.

Coloured splashes cover the whole screen like splints. A wide flat brush pushes the inner lake of colours in broad stripes over the image area outwards and grants the explosion an inner arrangement that at once expresses a bursting of ordered structures.
